Hi Soulful Peeps,

First and foremost, a huge apology to everyone for being quiet for so long. Our individual projects have really made it difficult for us to do the show. We are however back in full swing. Thank you for being so patient. Our website is almost complete by the way. We had the opportunity of "test driving" it and it's only a matter of time till everything is up and running. The Sai & Ribatone music video for the song "Tonite" should be on our screens very soon. Brian Blaq's "Elements Of Soul" is also in the work currently and the compilation should be out in no time. DJ Jiyane is also busy in the studio, so you can see that we've been busy. This however is no indication that we've forgotten about the Soulful Kollective Radio Show. Show #65 is upon us ladies and gents. DJ Jiyane is in the mix. I think we can safely label this show as the "aftermath to the Cape Town Jazz Festival". Sit back relax, and enjoy this next hour of soulful house brought to you by this amazing dj.

DJN Project - Raindrops

Hey guys,

It's been a minute, I know. I do apologise for the silence. Things are really going crazy. I recently listened to this EP and must say, I was really impressed. I would urge you dj's and music collectors to add this to your collection. Check out the latest release from DJN Project.

DJN Project is NYC and Atlanta based duo of Ruben ‘Swift’ Vidal and Rick ‘Galactik’ Wilkinson. Both grew up with a deep passion for music, Swift was in Hip-Hop, and Rick was in R&B. They individually hold a wealth of experience that has led them to work with the likes of Jay-Z, DJ Green Lantern, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, *N Sync and Britney Spears to name but a few. DJN Project made their first house album in November 2007 entitled "Everlasting". At the start, Rick nor Swift knew any DJ's or anybody in the dance genre.

After performing live at the Winter Music Conference in 2008, DJN Project was set to roll with collaborations locked down with Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis, and Louie Vega. They have released a new project, “Raindrops”, with DO IT NOW Recordings, this is set to cause havoc on the dancefloors.
‘Raindrops’ is a soulful, emotive song the signature solo piano turns into a beautiful melodic track. The pulsating bassline and suave percussions carry the heart of track and take it to the dancefloor with ease. With mixes from M60, V-Underground and Zulu’s at Work, this is an incredibly smooth package.

More can be expected from this talented duo, DJN PROJECT!

FEATURING:
  1. Raindrops (Original)
  2. Raindrops (Instrumental)
  3. Raindrops (M60 Remix)
  4. Raindrops (Zulu’s At Work: Nu Time Mix)
  5. Raindrops (V-Underground: UTR Club Mix)

Check this project out and let me know what you think...
